This Dylan Farrell designed house was featured on the cover of Belle Magazine in April 2018.
“There’s a high level of craftsmanship and a low level of showmanship.” is the way in which Dylan described the finished house.
The owner said “My vision was for a classic, contemporary home with a chic Parisian modern influence. It had to remain timeless and have an understated elegance. Practicality and usability were also key. We didn’t want a home that looked too pristine to live in.”
The existing modern, Italianate style house was stripped of it’s finishes, the floor plan rejigged, openings enlarged, and rebuilt by Fido Projects with a look inspired by Christian Liaigre and Joseph Dirand to create a rhythm throughout the house.
There were also minor external works completed in & around the garden was designed by Paul Bangay.
